A US-based startup serving mid-market and enterprise companies needed to integrate their website platform with Salesforce Sales Cloud. Their sales teams needed access to formatted marketing materials — case studies, success stories — directly within Salesforce during the sales process. The goal was to streamline content discovery and eventually distribute the app via AppExchange to expand their customer base.
Solution
Engineering Square developed a single-page web application using the Lightning Component framework. The solution featured REST API callouts with OAuth 2.0 authentication for secure user verification, compatibility with both Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience interfaces, search functionality allowing filtering by account name, company size, deal size, and industry, and integration displaying formatted content in dedicated Account and Opportunity record sections.
