Roles and Responsibilities :
- As the SAP ABAP developer, you will be responsible for development ofvarious SAP solutions across various functions
- You will design, develop, and support application solutions with focus on SAP ABAP.
- Be proficient with various integrations with SAP ECC system using EDI / IDoC and other tools
- Be proficient in reporting using SAP BOBJ tools
- Document and articulate the SAP systems roadmap, driving business value by influencing internal customers to use existing investments whenever possible
- Engage in project/release scoping discussions with internal customers to understand business requirements and complexity to ensure the appropriate SAP services and capabilities are available
- Release (cutover) planning, articulate and resolve timelines for various cutover activities, serve as technical point and SME for SAP technologies
- Partner closely with internal teams and suppliers on systems design, application upgrades, release and project implementations, capacity management and system performance
- Need to handle complex ABAP developments and enhancements for FI, PS, PM and MM modules
- Need to follow best business practices, Bug tracking, technical review log and Reporting
- Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of project.
- Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs.
Requirements and skills:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience on SAP BOBJ reporting tools
- Experience and knowledge about SAP HANA
- Experience in integrating SAP with web technologies and/or Salesforce, etc
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States
- Hands-on knowledge on SAP HCI tool
- Strong knowledge of design methodologies
- Demonstrated teamwork, self-management and multi-tasking abilities
- In-depth knowledge and experience on the SAP-ABAP, Reports, Interfaces, Forms, Conversions, Enhancements.
- Experience on user exits/enhancement, BDC, Workflow, Web-dynpro and IDOC
- Knowledge of OData services, Adobe form.
- Experience in Object oriented programming techniques, REST API, API, RFC (Remote Function Call)
- Expertise in modifying standard layout sets in SAP Scripts, Smart forms & Adobe Forms
- Development experience in RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms and Reports)
