Job description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer with experience in cloud computing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and IT operations, with expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers and IT operations professionals to design, build, and deploy software applications and services in the cloud.
- Implement and manage the continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement and manage containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications using tools such as Splunk, ELK, or New Relic.
- Implement and manage security controls and compliance policies in the cloud environment
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24×7 availability and support of production environments
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of experience in software development or IT operations, with at least 2 years of experience in cloud computing
Mandatory:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including compute, storage, and network services
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk, ELK, or New Relic
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance policies in the cloud environment
