Roles and Responsibilities:
With a high level of independence and minimum supervision, the Software Engineer – MuleSoft Developer will be responsible for the following job duties:
-Actively participate in the design, development, and deployment of MuleSoft applications.
-Create RESTful APIs using MuleSoft’s Any point Platform.
-Perform data mapping and transformation using DataWeave.
-Be a hands-on subject matter expert on MuleSoft Cloud hub 2.0, Titanium level Monitoring, Alerting, Notifications, Analytics and Visualizer.
-Configure and manage connectivity to various data sources and external APIs.
-Implement error handling and fault tolerance in integration flows.
-Deliver high-quality production-ready application services, integration programs, APIs and web services.
-Monitor integration flows, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
-Work closely with Architects and SMEs to design and implement MuleSoft solutions.
-Populate Any point Exchange with the above artifacts. This includes the system, process, experience, common services APIs, frameworks, guides, and documents.
-Debug, troubleshoot and resolve MuleSoft application issues.
-Create clear and comprehensive technical documentation for integration solutions.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration projects.
-Understand and clarify complex business integration requirements and produce eloquent and scalable designs utilizing the MuleSoft Any point platform.
-Refine Any point Platform components – API Manager including API policies, Any point Exchange/Portal, and business groups.
-Cloud hub configuration review and guidance, especially in accordance with applicable risk and compliance standards.
-Provide skilled technical designs and develop custom interfaces/integration programs.
-Participate in the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Application Integration platform by making technical contributions and by providing architectural recommendations.
-Refine the environments and deployment model for non-production and production environments, including CI/CD considering the additional use cases in scope of the engagement.
-Enhance common services design and frameworks around logging, error handling, alerting, and security.
-Refine the MuleSoft reference architecture (solution architecture) based on Customer’s prioritized use cases.
-Implement the required APIs per API led approach and perform the necessary orchestrations and transformations for identified use cases.
-Configure API manager including API policies for the above use cases.
-Runtime tuning of JVM, GC, and MuleSoft runtimes.
This position allows for telecommuting.
This position requires 30% travel to unanticipated clients sites throughout the U.S.
This position requires a U.S. bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in EE, CE, or a closely related field; and four (4) years of experience as a SW/Bus Tech Engr/Associate/Consultant, or closely related occupation.
Must have professional experience with:
1. MuleSoft ESB,
2. Anypoint Platform, and
3. ALM.
Travel: This position requires 30% travel to unanticipated clients sites throughout the U.S.
Salary: $189,074 – $194,000 per year; Full Time
